Case Study: Honouring Larry Fisher with a Community Street Unveiling.

Client & Event Overview

On April 10, 2025, community members, city officials, and the press gathered in Surrey, BC, to unveil Larry Fisher Way — a street named in memory of a beloved local figure known for his contributions to the region. The daytime event included a press conference followed by a live street sign unveiling, supported by speeches, live performances, and media coverage. A separate musical act was held later that evening to continue the celebration.

Client Challenge / Objective

The organizers needed full A/V support and staging to deliver a meaningful and media-friendly public unveiling. Key goals:

• Capture and broadcast the street sign unveiling

• Ensure press-ready sound and visual support for the press conference and public ceremony

• Deliver professional-quality recording for archival and content purposes

• Support live music, multiple speakers, and on-site press coverage

• Set up early in the day to avoid disruptions

Outcome & Results

The unveiling was a powerful moment — capturing both the community’s appreciation for Larry Fisher and the importance of public space dedicated in his honour.

Everything from speeches to music to the sign reveal ran smoothly. Media teams got the access they needed, the crowd heard every word clearly, and the visuals were clean, crisp, and captured in high definition for future use.

Why It Matters

Events like this don’t come with second takes. Our role was to make sure everything — from power to press, from sound to screen — was handled without distraction.

When a community comes together to honour someone, the technical side should stay invisible and just work. That’s exactly what we delivered.
